Geat game February 2, 2010 N. Kostallas (port washington, NY, US) Great game very realistic missing a few of my favorite cars but over all i give it an A
Best Racing Game February 2, 2010 dman77777 (Miami) this is the best racing game avaialble to date. graphics are great, controls and physics are dead on. they have a difficulty level for everyone from beginners to expert. i love the unlimited rewind feature, saves you from a lot of frustrating restarting of races. i got it on sale for $34, great game i highly recommend.
Is awesome, but slow February 2, 2010 davam (Salisbury, NC, US) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you've played arcade racing games, and this is the first time you've played a sim, then this game is probably going to be frustrating at first. Instead of powering or drifting through the corners, you have to brake and slowly, albeit at 60 MPH, go through them. When you go over something like grass, your speed drops like you are going over wet cement. After you've played for a while, if you get the hang of it you'll have tons of fun, but if you don't get the hang of it you'll just get really frustrated.
Buy it for the driving feel, but don't expect it to beat out Forza 2 February 1, 2010 B. Gifford (Seattle, WA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The gameplay is thrilling (especially for a simulation racer), and the visuals are fantastic. The driving experience feels less technical and more impassioned.
Gameplay is... well, easier than Forza 2 at first glance. With the addition of rewind, auto-braking, and slightly more-forgiving physics (even at highest difficulty), the game is much more enjoyable to play, but doesn't offer a huge upside to someone who prefers a frustratingly-hard simulation racer. On the other hand, Turn 10 has made the AI more aggressive, so what's lost in technical driving is compensated for by a tougher AI - that included, Forza 2 still remains the less-forgiving game. In the end, Forza 3 is a spectacular racer: great physics, amazing visuals, and a robust driving experience that captures the power and driving style of each car in its library.
One word of warning: if you have a large TV (over 37 inches), the menus of this game are pure white... aka, play in a well-lit room or be prepared for temporary blindness.
Forza 3: Lasting entertainment February 1, 2010 Zach Toundas (Gainesville, FL USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Forza 3 surprised me actually, it has a very slick interface and smooth classy feel to the whole game. Photo-realistic graphics and scenery create a really immersive racing game. With so many cars to choose from and so many upgrades to work with, you have thousands of possibilities to work with. the replayability is basically infinite and its something you can just pick up any time for a race without having to worry about getting stuck n some plotline (not that that isn't fun or engaging anyway)
I highly recommend this for and racing/driving sim fan.
