What can I say about the buttkicker? It seriously kicks my butt. The buttkicker sends a targeted amount of bass through whatever you attach it to which definitely sets apart an experience.
I had the buttkicker attached while playing Lego Star Wars on my XBox and remember bouncing around to the tune of Starwars. I feel as though I'm a bit unqualified to completely review this given I don't really have that powerful a speaker setup but even with my weak system the buttkicker amplified my experience considerably.
In the package you receive everything you need to setup your system: an amplifier, a wireless transmitter, a wireless receiver, the mounting kit, and the buttkicker itself. It doesn't take long to setup and comes with the only tool you need to set it up (unless you're physically mounting it).
The sound seems like it'll travel (and I'm sure my neighbors below me thank me for using the buttkicker sparingly) but the mounting system to set it up definitely reduces the amount of bass escaping through the floor.
I can't say I dislike the buttkicker... it feels weird at first actually feeling a show or game but hey, you're getting your butt kicked, what do you expect?

First, I'm not a big time home audio enthusiast. Yes, I have a nice big screen TV, a decent surround sound system, and a PS3. However, I don't consider myself an expert or advanced user. With that in mind, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect from the ButtKicker Kit. It all sounds innocent enough, plug in a few modules to your system and enjoy your movies and games more. I was not expecting much, but I was very much (and pleasantly) surprised by the difference that the ButtKicker makes. I guess it's hard to imagine how it changes the experience until you've actually experienced it yourself. It really does bring the movie or game into your sitting area, and thus your body. You honestly really do feel more immersed in the game or movie. So, since it is so hard to explain how ButtKicker feels or changes your experience, I will instead focus on the prime audience for the product.
If you rarely use your surround sound system, and could care less about terms like Dolby Digital 5.1, then I doubt you will be able to appreciate this product. However, if you enjoy watching movies or playing games and actually "hearing" the sounds as they were meant to be heard, then you are going to fall in love with the ButtKicker product.
The unit is well built, and I was glad to see the metal components, not some cheap plastic. You will feel like you got your money's worth with the product. The system comes with high quality speaker cables, and the setup is easy enough, although at first it may seem daunting until you realize exactly how it works. For this one folks, be sure and read the instruction booklet that is included at the top of the box! It will save you time. The unit is packaged well, with everything fitting the box perfectly, so there should be little danger of getting a unit that has broken during shipping.
Bottom Line: If you love movies and games, you are going to love them even more after you install the ButtKicker!

When it comes to home entertainment there are many products on the market that are supposed to "Enhance" the movie watching and game playing experience but they rarely deliver,the BKA300 delivers,big time!The Buttkicker will make you feel every single song you listen to,every movie you watch and every game you play.I popped in Saving Private Ryan into my DVD player and OMG i could not believe the feeling i got,the shells exploding,the bullets flying,the grenades going off,it was like being right there on the beach!Same thing goes for games,while playing WarHawk i found myself ducking because i could feel every single rocket going by my head.Amazing!I have the Buttkicker on the back of my couch and the setup could not have been easier,only took around 10 minutes to hook up and get it just right.Even if you already have a great surround sound system this thing will make it even better.

This unit took about 30 minutes total to set up. I was amazed at just how much kick one gets on the couch and it just plain adds a lot of fun to playing a video game or watching a DVD. The unit includes a wireless remote control that controls how much kick comes out and one will have to adjust it to their personal taste. I tried various positions on my couch and found that ultimate performance was obtained if the transducer unit was placed in the back middle of the sofa. It still works OK if placed on the side though. My only complaint is with the setup instructions. The instructions were not clear on how to initially configure the wireless. Using the "Start Here" instructions wiring diagrams showed setting up the unit without wireless capability. You have to go to a separate enclosed instruction guide to set that up. It should all have been included in the "Start Here" guide since this product is sold as being wireless.

This ButtKicker BKA300 Wireless Home Theater Kit was reviewed with my Kenwood HTB-307 Home Theater System unit which has it's own powered subwoofer. I felt I was very content with my 5.1 surround sound system until I added this kit.
To be honest I was blown away by the experience. Now I hear what my subwoofer produces as before, but also feel the vibrations of low frequency sounds in my body. It is an amazing experience that one needs to experience it to realize what you are missing in your home theater setup.
This is something that just cannot be explained in a review or shown in pictures. Trust me, it is an amazing experience. I Love it, Very addictive and give a whole new dimension to the movies and games you play in your home theater environment.
ButtKicker BKA300 Wireless home theater kit does an excellent job in reproducing those low frequency vibrations which generally gets poorly produced by your subwoofer or you usually crank up the overall volume of your home theater to get the subwoofer to reproduce some of those Low frequency sounds like Thumps, Booms, or a blast which are part of the content as intended by the producers of movies and games.
PROS:

[+] Complete wireless kit no need to buy additional components
[+] Powerful Amplifier for most needs
CONS:
[-] IR Remote is a poor implementation when used in Wireless option (*)
(*)IR remote is for other wired options available wherein the Amplifier is in line of sight, I only wish that they designed the tiny remote with "RF" technology when used with Wireless option wherein most cases the Amplifier is tucked away behind the couch and hard to control with Infrared Remote.
Overall, ButtKicker BKA300 Wireless Home Theater Kit with ButtKicker Advance and Power Amplifier is an excellent value item considering the fact that it has all the components and kits needed to setup a Silent Subwoofer addition to your home theater to feel the environment as intended by the producers of movies and game contents.
