 Is GOW2 Really that fun? September 13, 2009

Well okay so I had huge hopes for this game since GOW. But it wasn't that great to the extent of 5 stars rating. The game had the same buttons and gameplay as the first and some more weapons and new grenades and a shield to use. There were some great locust to kill but I liked the berserker back in GOW but they removed her from GOW2. So it's only an okay game. The story was bad it was confusing because they never explained why this or that happened. So the rating went down. The only point people buy the game for is because of it's multiplayer. Similar to COD:WAW in multiplayer aspect. Well that's about it.

The Gears Of War Franchise made a Huge Step with Gears Of War 2; including a Storyline for one of its Characters; this gives Interest to players who wish for a Storyline on a Game; but does not Detract from the out and out 'Run and Gun' which has become the Adrenaline Rush that is the Storyline on Insane Difficulty; the Multi-Player that includes up to 5 players in Game Modes such as Warzone; Excecution; King Of The Hill; Annex; Guardian; and others; which include the Fantasticall Acclaimed 'Horde Mode' where you battle as a team of 5 against ever increasing Waves of Enemies from within the Campaign; up to Level 50; Horde Mode also has 4 Difficulty Levels; Casual being the first; and Insane being the last; Gears Of War 2 also incorporates Experience Points which count toward your Online Rank; and these Points can be earned through general Multi-Player; but also through Horde; which for me is Excellent as I fail quite dismally within most Multi-Player Games; in all this is the Best 3rd Person Shooter Ever Made; and with 19 Multi-Player Maps (for Horde also) this is a Game that has Massive Longevity

Great co-op on x-box live I play it with my son using the head sets.Worth the price for this alone.

Nice, intense shoot-em-up game with imaginative creepies. Lots of fun in either single or co-op, but I preferred the co-op. Really gets you involved, makes you shout at your game partner.
