The first fable was one of my favorite games ever. Fable 2 did not let me down at all. I really like the world fable 2 is set in and the overall look and feel of the game.
Truly Magnificent August 21, 2009

This is, without a doubt, one of the greatest games I have ever played in all my life. Lionhead Studios did almost everything right in this truly magnificent work of art, with an excellent combat system, increased exploration areas, and much more realistic graphics and realism.
The only few problems I have with this game are basically the aging system, and somewhat stiff character animations. Don't be too worried, as they did make many improvements from the other game.
All in all, I say that if you are only going to get involved in 1 role-playing saga in your life, I recommend getting involved with this one.

I was VERY disappointed by this game after playing the original Fable. It's all gravy up until about 2/3 of the way through and then it gets incredibly repetitive and you're just fighting the same enemies over and over again. The end boss "fight" with Lucien was such a let down that it ruined the entire game for me. You build up your character for nothing, basically. I can't believe that they had the balls to put this game out with that ending. They probably thought that it would make you excited for the possible 3rd Fable but it really just makes you angry that you spent all this money for a sub par story line with no payoff whatsoever.

If you played one of the Fables on the original Xbox, you need this game. Fable 2 takes the original games up a notch.... several notches in fact. At the very least, this game is worth your money. Whether you are a casual or hardcore gamer, Fable 2 can provide dozens of hours of fun game play with its many side adventures and (currently) 2 DLC packs that expand the adventure. At the most, it is the greatest thing to ever come from Lionhead Studios (and from a gamer who absolutely loves all of their games that is saying something), and arguably the best game of 2008. If you played Fable, there is no excuse for you if you do not own this game. If you didn't, then I sincerely hope you experience this series. I both highly recommend Fable 2 to you, and suggest you spend the 5 or so dollars and buy Fable: The Lost Chapters for the original Xbox, which of coarse you can also play on 360! :)

I am a huge fan of the first Fable(PC) game and Fable 2 was a large contributing factor to my Xbox 360 purchase. I couldn't be happier with the gameplay, controls, level design, story. And to be honest if had to complain about anything it would be that it seemed too short. But such is the case when having a great time. I am thrilled to hear that they plan on making more Fable games.
