Old school games May 27, 2008 Kirlann A. Mitchell (Trinidad West Indies) The game is ok a little hard to install,I have a fairly updated computer so it should of been a breeze but it wasnt, and the games that i played were ok, would of enjoyed it better on a playstation.

I was looking for video games that my younger children could play. My five and three year-old always want to play the Game Cube games but they require too much coordination with the controllers. I got this hoping that it would be simpler. It is a little, but not quite simple enough. Interestingly, my teenage boys (17 and 14) are now playing this instead of their Game Cube games.
Back in the day! January 14, 2008 N. Blake (Philly, Pa) Ok...so its a great idea, I dont understand why it caused my computer screen to stay so large?! Any clues? On the other hand its nice to play the games from back in the day...
barely worked... October 27, 2007 observer03 Out of the 80 games atari promised, I could only get asteroids deluxe to work normally on my Vista. That alone made it really fun, but it's a rip-off overall and you shouldn't buy this product.
Since you're probably desparately looking for addicting games that work on a laptop: I had no problem with konami contra and castlevania, and monopoly.
Well worth the price! September 24, 2007 Red Ranger (Mansfield, OH United States) 33 out of 33 found this review helpful
If you grew up in the '70s, like I did, and spent too much time, and too much money in the arcades, then you can't go wrong with this! For less than a Starbuck's cappucino, you get 18 of Atari's CLASSIC arcade games. And when I say ARCADE, I mean the EXACT SAME GAMES you pumped SO MANY quarters into!
Asteroids
Asteroids Deluxe
Battlezone
Black Widow
Centipede
Millipede
Crystal Castle
Gravitar
Lunar Lander
Missile Command
Major Havoc
Liberator
Red Baron
Space Duel
Super Breakout
Tempest
Warlords
Pong
Those games alone are worth the price of admission, to me anyway. And infinitely more fun to waste time with than Solitaire, (talk about LAME!) The other 62+ games look to be mostly ports of old Atari 2600 games, which ARE sort of lame, even by 1980's standards. But I've spent a few hours (re-living my childhood) playing those as well.
If you're looking for cutting edge, 3D graphics, state-of-the-art video games, move on. But if you're looking for a cheap fun trip down memory lane, then you can't go wrong here.
Don't get me wrong, I love my 3D graphics card, but these games re-kindle that old visceral excitement, and instant gratification that has somehow been lost in today's world of "everything's-gotta-be-3D-or-else-it-sucks" gaming paradigm.
Regards,
Classic Fanatic
