Best Mouse Ever May 28, 2009 Cameron Gietz (Washington) The Logitech MX 518 High Performance Optical Gaming Mouse (Metal)is the best mouse I've ever used. it doesn't have some of the fancier features of its big brother the Logitech G5 Laser Mouse (Blue/Black) who has a customizable wight tray. but this mouse is the smoothest mouse i've used, with it's plethora of buttons. which I especially like the forward and backwards buttons for browsing through windows. and they are all fully customizable. the on the fly sensitivity switching works well, and is also fully programmable with the included, but not necessary software(you can still use the sensitivity switching without the software). this is by far the best mouse you'll ever get. you won't regret it!
Great gaming mouse... May 20, 2009 Alberto Dominguez-Gonzalez It's a great mouse... I like the design, moves very smoothly, has buttons in the right location and let's you choose different dpis on just a click...
Good cost vs value...
I could use more buttons but you can't have it all, hehe...
Logitech MX 518 Mouse May 18, 2009 T. McClintock (Shreveport, LA) My son is a semi professional gamer and this is his second Logitech Mx 518 mouse. In his opinion it is one of the very best and is very reasonably priced. The first one held up extremely well and was used over 8 hours a day. It is tough and durable and a very good buy.
Well worth the money May 16, 2009 David_020 (Verona, WI) There are lighter mouses out there but the shape of this one is perfect. The button placement and feel are spot on. The mouse wheel doesn't have the annoying click noise while scrolling like the standard Microsoft 3 button mouse. I even saw a PCZone issue (June 2009) where they tested various mice against insane damage tests and this mouse stood out as the winner. So I highly recommend purchasing this mouse.
Great mouse May 14, 2009 J. Prines (USA) A great mouse overall, however the two main mouse buttons tend to wear out after six months to a year of repeated use. This in turn causes mouse clicks to require much more pressure than initially required.
