Space Shuttle January 13, 2009 Karen Green My nephew spends hours playing with this space shuttle. It was one of his favorite gifts at Christmas.
A total hit with my 5 year old January 12, 2009 ValueShopper (CA USA) I bought this for my son for Christmas having never seen this toy and based it on the customer reviews, free shipping, and it would be here in time for the holidays. It is a complete hit with my son! He's had hours of fun and the toy is well built. I love the wheels - it reminds me of roller blade wheels. I'm so tired of buying toys that fall apart moments later. This may seem pricey, but well worth it given that it lasts and the kids have fun. The packaging was also another bonus - great for the environment and no fuss to open. I'm so glad I bought this toy. I'm considering never entering a toy store and buying all of my kid's toys based on the reviews here. Enjoy!
Lots of parts January 12, 2009 Aunt Gifter Bought this for a friend's son. He loves it and has had fun putting it together along with his brother and sister's help. (5 year old)
7 year old loves this! January 12, 2009 K. Occansey Santa brought this to my 7 year old for Christmas and it was a big hit! He absolutely loves space and was overjoyed to get this toy. I was impressed by how many ways it can go together. He's built many different space stations, and rovers. The alien is great for play as well. The frustration free packaging was nice - however, since it doesn't come in the color box it did leave something to be desired when presenting as a gift. We ended up putting all the pieces together and then putting it inside a plastic storage tub -- then wrapped this up as the gift. That worked out great - since there are so many pieces he can easily pick them up and put away in the storage container.
A great toy even if it has a UFO & alien January 11, 2009 new Chonda fan (the Bible belt, USA) This toy has many interlocking parts that allow you to take the shuttle from launch to space lab complete with robotic arm to reentry. Other less "real" configurations can also be made to continue the imaginative fun. A small UFO and little green figure allow for additional fun play whether or not you believe in UFOs or aliens. Hours of fun and thus far has withstood two kids ages 3-6 for about 3 weeks with no sign of wear and tear.
