I bought this toy for my 4 1/2 year old nephew for Christmas. It stole the show. He plays with it every day. Since then, we have been watching shuttle launches and space videos in addition to playing with the toy.
It has actively "fired" his imagination. I would highly recommend this toy.

Our 5 yr old can play with this hours on end! He loves creating his own space ships. Good quality and worth the money. It holds up well to rough play. We just wish it came with more than one astronaut.

Bought this with the Amazon no frills packaging and what a welcome feature to be able to easily and simply open the box and start playing, without dealing with all that extra and wasteful plastic packing that comes with the toy from the manufacturer.
The one downside of this toy from a parent perspective is that the alien ship that comes with it has an annoying siren type noisemaker that can not be switched off. Once activated you have to listen to the whole siren string before it goes off by itself. My child loves it, though!!

I got this for my 6 year old son and he loved it. His older brother (9 years old) helped him out with the assembling, not because he had to, but because he wanted it for himself.
There's a few different ways to play with it and kept them busy for a while.
My six year old wants more from this series.
Pretty cool toy, and looks impressive too.

This was what my boys asked Santa for this year. I bought one for each of my boys. They have really played with it. There are so many parts to this that it has provided many different missions for them. It is a toy that I have recommended to many.
