4 out of 5 stars A definite FUN TIME~   January 11, 2009

Way more fun than it looks like it'd be! My 7 yr old AND his big sister love it. Easy to set up and make martians...not messy like I thought~ very very cool and loads of fun!

5 out of 5 stars Great toy with great quality   January 11, 2009

I purchased this for my 7 year old son, and he loved it! So did my 10 year old son. It's lots of fun and let you be creative with the different ways to make them. Easy to use also.

5 out of 5 stars Better than anticipated   January 10, 2009

The Martian maker was a gift for twin girls. It is great, the girls made many martians by themselves with a little adult help. It kept them busy for many hours and they enjoyed playing with the spaceship. I would highly recommend this toy. It came with plenty of supplies.

3 out of 5 stars Gooey Matrians   January 9, 2009
amynicole902 (Northern Virginia)
My 6.5yo son received this for Christmas. He played with it for a while, then became bored with it. The martians take much longer than 5 minutes to harden, even if you want the middle to remain gooey. HELPFUL HINT: We noticed the martian mud soaks up the moisture from the goo, so flipping the mud disk that is place on top of the martain helps dry out the martian more.

The space ship holds all of the small pieces, and we threw the goo and mud in a bag for easier storage. The ship also has spots for the martians to be stored (if they're not dissected before play time is over!).

I don't know how much play this toy will have in the future since it takes so long to make only 1 alien, but it's a great concept.

5 out of 5 stars My 8 and 5 year old kids both enjoy this toy   January 8, 2009

I got each of my children (8 y.o. boy and 5 y.o. girl) one of these for Christmas. They both love it and play with it together and individually. They are both able to make the martians on their own, and really love putting together different combinations and using different colors.
