Even helps a 2 year old learn colors September 13, 2009 Mom on a budget 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for my 7 year old due to the great reviews and the right price ([...]). I didn't realize it would also be a great game for my 4 year old and my 2 year old (who has developmental delays). On level one, all three kids can play. My 2 year old likes doing everything the big kids do so this allows her to play along (with assistance) and helps her learn colors. When my 7 year old plays without the little kids she can play the higher levels and it is a fun way for her to practice some basic addition and subtraction. [...]
Great birthday present idea August 13, 2009 HereKittyKitty 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My kids, who are 7 and 9, love playing this game. Their friends have a ball with it too. When I was at the store another Mom told me she gets it for lots of birthday presents because it's such a great hit. After reading the reviews that sealed it for me. Great game if you're looking for birthday present ideas!
True greatness August 2, 2009 John R. Prince (Fort Worth, TX United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This game has such a high rating for a reason. It's a blast! We've owned it now for two years--and we still play it at least once a month. It's a game for ANYONE 6+. We have two children (seven and eight), and we love playing it in "team mode" as a family. There are also modes for single play, so "only children" will enjoy it as well.
I won't bother going into all the details of the game (you can get that from the other 200+ reviews), but I highly recommend this game. If you are trying to decide to get this or HyperJump or HyperSlide (both of which are also great games), I'd advise to purchase this one.
Important Warning July 20, 2009 Daniel Liedtke 3 out of 29 found this review helpful
Important warning to all.
While this product is a nifty toy and everyone has already commented on the finite number of variations that you can make, there is something that buyers should take into account. Some early reviews state that you can put in more than one "crystal" to get a third color; ex. red and blue make purple. This is no longer the case. Hasbro has changed the programming and you can only get red, blue or green; no color combinations. To be honest, this was the selling factor for me, so I was quite disappointed to discover this.
All in all, the product is fun and a great addition to your Jedi arsenal, but just know that you will not be able to that beautiful purple blade you may desire.
A concerned Jedi.
