Fun but not sturdy November 3, 2009 P. Ray (La Porte, Texas USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this for my 7 year old daughter to play with when it's either too hot or too wet to play outside. She and her friends had a blast with it the 3-4 times they played with it. Then it stopped working. I thought it might be the batteries but when I put new ones in it still didn't work. I think the concept behind the toy is great and the kids did have a fun, but I still feel like we wasted our money on it since it only worked for a short period of time.
Great concept....but October 30, 2009 JLD (AirBase, Japan) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this for my boys last Christmas and after only 1 day, it stopped working. I thought it would be a great game to burn some of their energy while learning colors and numbers. The materials are poor quality for a children's game, especially considering the handle is supposed to be put on top of the colors during play. When racing through the house, the handle gets slammed down and the plastic just doesn't hold up. Should be made of a more durable plastic and the wiring should be stronger.
Great to motivate movement! October 26, 2009 J. Hogan This is a great product to use for obstacle courses and to motivate kids who don't otherwise like to exercise to move. Have each color setup after a certain obstacle (ie. spinny chair, or climbing through tube, or climbing something), and the game becomes a real challenge and takes kids minds off of the fact that they are getting some excercise. :)
It broke October 16, 2009 dfritz (ny, ny) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
While fun to play, it broke after playing it about 5 times. Therefore, a one.
Bought this LAST Xmas - kids still LOVE it! October 13, 2009 T. Majors (St. Louis, MO) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this last year for my then 7-year old and both she and her 3year-old brother love it. It has lasted through a year of not so easy wear, so it's durable, but the part I love the most (as the mom) is the educational aspect. The game has several levels. Level 1 starts out asking players to recognize colors -perfect for my 3 yo. Next, it moves to numbers (1-5). Then it moves on to include math problems. So, for instance, it will say "8 minus 5" so you have to tag the answer "3".
If you are considering this toy, I really recommend it!
