1 out of 5 stars How long have all the Five Stars had theirs??   November 25, 2008
Family of Four (California)
If you're writing a five star review and you've had it for about ten minutes, keep going. I bet a million dollars that in 3 or 4 months or even a bit beyond that it just stops working for no apparent reason. These are not cheap, and I have bought two, one for my daughter and one for my son. My sons (the oldest, bought it first) lasted longer than my daughters at about 6 months, then my daughters did not even make it to the three month mark. Of course, they both fritzed out at the same time otherwise I would not have bought my daughters if my sons had stopped working. I'd much rather have bought a different game consol for them. .Very disappointing.

5 out of 5 stars Great!   November 23, 2008

We've had this hand held for just over a year and it has lasted a few drops and tumbles. We got this for my 4 year old but my just turned 3 year old picked up how to play fast. I do recommend picking up a plug to plug it into the wall or car lighter as it seems to eat batteries up rather fast.

3 out of 5 stars product not durable   November 2, 2008
A. Vernon
We have four children and we have been through 2 console systems and 3 hand helds. The product is cute and games are fun but the consoles and the handhelds tear up so easily. It is not worth the money I've spent on all of the products. Now we are stuck with 10 games. Don't want to spend the money again...

1 out of 5 stars Great idea, terrible product   July 29, 2008

A couple years ago I purchased the TV version of this, along with about 15 games. The system did not work, so I took it back for a new one. That still did not work right, so I purchased the hand held version. That one had a short in it, so I took it back for a second one. That one worked for maybe 3 or 4 minutes at a time (after you spent 10 minutes trying to get it to work), so I sent it in for a new one. My 3rd one (and 5th V Smile system) still does not work right - it still acts like it has a short in it, like the others I had. I have spent literally hours trying to get these to work - with no luck. My kids are dying to play all these great games, but we can't get any system to work. I would NEVER purchase this product - I have spent a bunch of time andmoney on this and my children have gotten zero play time out of it.

5 out of 5 stars Works Great So Far   July 27, 2008
K. Benson (SC, USA)
We purchased this item for our 4 year old for X-mas & had some misgivings about it, given the negative ratings about it going K-PUT after a few uses. However, so far we have had no problems with ours and it has held up well. It does use up batteries pretty quickly, but we bought the wall charger and car charger, which solve the problem. In fact, I wouldn't even bother with the battery charger, just use the outlet chargers. You only need batteries if your not near an outlet anyway! Our 4 year old really enjoys the games and we have many. In fact, we also purchased the TV model originally and it never gets used, given that this model serves both purposes - TV and handheld play.
