This was my daughter's first Melissa and Doug chunky puzzle and still one of her favorites. It introduced her to these durable, colorful and easy to manipulate puzzles. She played with it before she was one-year-old and still plays with it as a two-year-old. I recommend all of these puzzles to everyone and frequently get them as gifts.

My son loved this and now my daughter does, too. Its neat how the pieces will stand up. Very durable. Great first puzzle.

This is a great puzzle, and it is very well made. My daughter started playing with it when she was about 18 months old. Even though she couldn't always put the pieces in the correct spot, she still loved to play with them. Now that she is 2 yrs old, and able to complete the puzzle with ease, she likes it even more. I am trying to buy a puzzle rack to accommodate this and a few other Melissa and Doug chunky puzzles. I hope they will fit.

I really like this whole Chuncky line of Melissa & Doug puzzles. The age reccomendations says 2 years but I believe that is way too old. I got a few of them for my daughter for her fist birthday and she instantly loved them. The pieces have pictures underneath so that your baby can match the pictures. They are super durable and will stand up to years of play by multiple children. Only down side is that they won't fit in any standard puzzle rack.
