5 out of 5 stars Rubik's Cube 5X5 at last!   January 6, 2009
Barbara F. Bellatti (Tulsa Ok USA)
Gave this as a gift to my son, who has mastered the 3X3 and 4X4. He has been dying to try one. He solved it in 45 min. the first time, then spent a little longer each time afterwards trying to figure out what he did the first time. He loves it. He likes brain teasers and puzzles, needs the challenge to keep his mind nimble.

5 out of 5 stars A definite puzzle   January 6, 2009

I bought this for my husband. He already knows how to solve the original cube so I bought this one so he would have a new challenge. So far he hasn't solved it but he is working on it.

The toy holds up well and works perfectly.

4 out of 5 stars Adding to the Collection   January 6, 2009

If you are a Rubriks fanatik this is for you! It was nice to find the
5 x 5 since my son has mastered the 3 x3 and the 4 x 4. Like all of them they are a little stiff to turn at first but once he "oiled" them down, they flew quickly. Shipping was quick and this is a toy that will last forever and batteries not needed!! Stickers will evidently peel off after LOTS and LOTS of use. But they sell replacements.

5 out of 5 stars Great toy   January 5, 2009

I just got this in the mail about a week ago after finishing all the 2, 3, and 4 sided rubik's cubes. I figured this would be no different, yet challenging. It uses many algorithms from the 3x3 and 4x4 so you almost feel like you're solving one of those. Pieces do tend to try and pop off, but if you're gentle and don't force it, they'll go back into place. It says it isn't intended for speed solving, so if you just do it for fun at a good pace then you'll be fine. I've had no problems with it falling apart. Great toy, would definitely buy from this company again.

5 out of 5 stars Great Buy   January 3, 2009

I bought this product and just got it after i ordered it two days ago and it said that it would come the fifth. As soon as I got it I started playing with it and there was nothing wrong with it. And for $9 it was an unbelievable deal. You would usually pay like $30 in a store and not get the thrill that something is coming in the mail.
