4 out of 5 stars Great toy. Not Durable   March 6, 2009
Jonathon E. Caudill
I was excited the moment this arrived at my house. The first thing with it I noticed was how loose all the pieces were. Everytime I turn it, it feels like it's going to break. On the second day with it my friends little sister was mixing it up because well it's colorful and children like color. As she was doing it one of the white inside pieces had started to pop out. I pushed it back in and everything has been fine since then. Aside from the durability it's a great toy and will keep you occupied for quite a few hours.

4 out of 5 stars Very Fun to Solve   March 2, 2009
J. Victor (Tulsa, OK)
When I first took my 5x5 Professor cube out of the package I was a little concerned at how "loose" it felt. But now after MANY solves I have had no problems with it. This is a good product, but it is in no way for anyone interested in speed solving.

Many reviews complain about sticker quality on Rubik's brand cubes, but I have not had such issues. (I own a Rubik's brand 3x3, 4x4 and now 5x5) Although I will admit the sticker quality could be better, some reviews seem to claim that after a day or two of handing the cube the stickers were all but gone. This has not been my experience.

I would recommend this cube to puzzle enthusiasts young and old.

5 out of 5 stars Rubik's 5x5 Rocks   February 16, 2009
Michael Habermann (Wisconsin)
I bought a 5x5 Rubik's cube a few days ago and it is great. I love solving it even though it takes around 15 minutes. I personally enjoy it much more than the 4x4 cube because it has fewer parity cases and has defined centers. I definitely recommend the 5x5 if you want to show off to friends and are sick of your 3x3 Rubik's cube. YOU NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SOLVE A 3x3 BEFORE YOU CAN SOLVE A 5x5!!!!! If you can do that then by all means go for it, it's a lot of fun.

4 out of 5 stars Want to Keep a Teenage Kid Busy?   February 11, 2009
L. Dundore (Burlington, Wi USA)
This is one "toy" I wouldn't want to even take on. My son however, loves it and carries it with him every where. The only thing I don't like about it is noisier than the smaller one and the thing sounds like it's going to fall apart....but it doesn't and it's an excellent toy for an older child that wants to be challenged above the first rubiks cube.

Received it in a short amount of time and was in great condition. Very trustworthy.
