good price for a well built cube June 8, 2009 Srini P (San Jose, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is well built rubik's cube, so well built that I couldn't open it up to put some petroleum jelly in it. It is a bit stiff out of the box. Doesn't have any lubrication but moves fairly easily.
Rubik's cube from china June 6, 2009 Darrell Menninga The rubik's cube turns smoothly. The colors are just painted on a white background material and the colors are starting to wear off after just a few weeks of use. Also sometimes the red and orange are hard to tell apart and also the green and blue are hard to tell apart in dim light.
Retro toy June 3, 2009 L. Zaglin (PA, United States) If you want a good old fashioned rubiks cube, this is perfect. It works well, is durable and the price is right. My 4 year old wanted it because he saw one at his older cousin's. I first overpaid for one at a retail store, not realizing it didn't turn like the traditional rubiks cube. It was electronic and made a bunch of noises. I can't figure out how to use it, let alone a child. I then found this on Amazon and it was just what I needed. My child doesn't yet understand the concept of it, but he has fun with it and hasn't harmed it in any way.
Dirk April 19, 2009 David J. Eastman Eventhough this toy has been around for a long time - you would think they would have perfected it. Instead, it appears they have cheapened it. Labels were pealing off when we opened the box. Poor quality.
Still can't solve the darn thing! March 29, 2009 Anthony A. Ratliff (Michigan) I got an urge to try the Rubik cube again.
I had one as a kid and never could figure it out.
Well, I recently learned that I still can't figure it out!
