Great Quality Cube March 4, 2009 James Patrick Sigmon 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This 4x4 cube is way better quality than my old one. The stickers on the old one peeled off soon after use and eventually broke. I have had no stickers peel and no broken pieces on this one. Keep in mind that all 4x4 cubes are stiff to move. But I sprayed silicon spray in it, and it moves beautifully now. If you are going to buy a 4x4 cube, I definitely recommend getting this one.
My son loves this version of the Rubik's cube... February 2, 2009 Cindy M. Downs (St. Charles, MO) ...even better than the original 3 x 3 he mastered. He had it almost mastered in a couple days, except for a couple seemingly unfixable "parity" errors, so he got help from online videos. It has a very smooth action that he prefers to the somewhat stiff 3 x 3, too.
I can't even do the 2 x 2, but the joy these bring my son makes them a very good value.
Don't waste your money paying more than twice this price from the other rip-off company, not for this cube or for the even more ridiculously priced "last" Rubik's UFO. Keep searching - you found this 4 x 4 for less than half their price, right? - or wait a couple weeks until another vendor adds one to the listing. Be patient and you won't get screwed.
Four squared Rubick's Cube January 14, 2009 Tanya S. Belvin (Lincolnton, NC) This cube kept my college-aged son entertained over the holidays. He had already mastered the 3 squared cube.
A little more challenge September 3, 2008 Ford Rivers (Forest City, Montana, USA) This product is "by winning moves" The package has the Rubik's brand name. I have not experienced any 'quality' issues yet. The stickers are holding so far with lots of use (8 to 14 year olds for 2 weeks continuous usage)
If you're questioning if a 4x4 is a challenging puzzle compared to the 3x3, it is. For those who find 3x3 easy, a 4x4 is easy-plus (which is a fun-increase in my book) Is the 4x4 impossible to figure out? NO. Do you think the 3x3 is impossible? If so, the 4x4 is also impossible. The big question is how much MORE difficult is the 4x4 compared to the 3x3? About a 3 compared to 2 on difficulty.

4x4 Rubiks cube April 6, 2008 P. Kohler It's an awesome upgrade from the 3x3 cube, if you are into cubes get any kind of 4x4 cube, then just keep getting bigger and bigger. It's not that hard at all really, but Good Luck anyways!
