Daddy's little helper December 28, 2007 D. Inscore (Covington, Ga USA) Hey if your son is like mine anytime you pick up a hammer or screwdriver or what have you so does he. And this tool set is a wonderful toy which you can use to prpare your children on how to use the real thing and not have to worry about what or who he is going to use it on next
A Good Buy. December 27, 2007 An Vo (New York, NY USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this for my 3 yr old brother as his Christmas gift and he loved it. The tape measurer and hammer were his favorites until we put the batteries into the drill. The kit is realistic looking, fun, and not over-priced. The plastic seems sturdy enough.
My only complaints would be that the drill bit does come off easily, and after the 1st day the tape measurer broke (the tape might've been jerked out of its container though). The tool belt is made of a pliable plastic but I kind of expected it to be more pleather-ish. Also the black clasps on the case fell off but I dont know if it's supposed to do that. Other then that, I think it's a good buy and would recommend it.
Tool broke after 1 day December 27, 2007 Ellie 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was disappointed by the quality of this set. The pliers broke after only 1 day. The tool belt we received does not close well so it cannot be worn. I would not purchase this again.
Great fun for little hands December 27, 2007 Sean P. Logue (Research Triangle Park, NC USA) I bought this for my daughter's three year old birthday about six months ago, and she still pulls it out and plays with it.
The plastic board has a really cool design where, when used with the drill, it appears to be drilling holes in it. Really fun!
The drill looks just like a little (much safer) version of my Makita, and gets the most use by far. She also likes the screwdriver and hammer (doesn't every little kid like to hit things with a hammer?). Less so the wrench and nuts, probably because that requires more hand eye coordination, and is harder than using the drill.
One annoying thing is that the drill bit comes off pretty easily. It is easy to stick back in, but when you do that more than once it gets old fast.
Still, lots of fun to play with. Mine is has been going strong for six months and nothing has broken, too, so it seems to be pretty durable.
I'd buy it again with no hesitation.
Great toy!! December 14, 2007 Gramma Carol (Raleigh, NC) I am very pleased with my purchase of this Pretend and Play Work Belt Tool Set. My 3 year old granddaughter was so excited when she opened this gift for Christmas and couldn't put it down. It is made well and I couldn't be happier.
