I read all of the reviews on this product and bought it anyway. I guess that I was hoping that my system would not have problems. When you read some positive and some negative, these reviews don't provide much help. So far I have only used it for simple back-ups of audio Cds and it does what it's supposed to do. That's the trade-off for my system restarts going from seconds to several minutes. The entire system runs slower. I live with it and hope that Roxio fixes this...probably not with dopes like me buying their stuff despite the problems caused.

If I could give Roxio zero stars I would. I wish I hadn't given Roxio my [...] bucks for this software. It was an impulse buy after reading it would give me access to my Tivo files. That is the only reason I bought it and guess what, it doesn't even work. This software can supposedly do a lot of different tasks but it failed to do the only one I bought it for. I usually research things before spending my money but this time I didn't. I blame myself but I also blame the TIVO website which is where I read what Toast 10 was supposed to be able to do. TIVO shouldn't be advertising worthless software. I took their word for it. I read about it on the TIVO website, bought Toast 10, then was quickly disappointed. Now I'm out [...] bucks. Sassafrasin!@$!

I have been using Toast for years because it is makes the process of creating a disc much easier than the built-in features of OS X. I would strongly recommend Toast to even the most casual user.

I am not inclined to waste too much time on talking about such a problematic, poorly-serviced and generally useless item as this. After several failed attempts to use various features without errors, three clean installs and absolutely worthless assistance from Roxio's so-called "support" system, I have thrown this rubbish away. I give this product and company the lowest marks possible for the inconvenience, headaches and wasted time that this software and non-service has caused. I urge readers to try any alternative in preference to Toast 10.
