Not gettng them June 9, 2009 Matthew K. Rands 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
After the first couple issues they stopped coming. I have not received an issue in almost 4 months; yet still supposedly have several months left in my subscription. Not worth the hassle of trying to get my money's worth. Total rip-off. I don't want back issues, I just want want what I agreed to pay for. Will not renew. Will not order magazines this way again.

Don't know what happened or who to call, going on 7 weeks and still no magazine.
Best Gaming Magazine March 7, 2009 Lara Holst (Minneapolis, MN) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been getting PC Gamer for about a 3 years now and have always enjoyed the content. The articles are genuinely funny and offer lots of insight into todays best games. There rating scale is easy to follow and there website is also easy to navigate. I have also subscribed to Games for Windows magazine but it wasn't anywhere near as good as this. If you like PC Gaming then you owe it to yourself to at least try this magizine if nothing else.
Solid magazine February 11, 2009 Kenneth Schaeffer (Indiana, PA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have been reading this mag for 2 years or so. With it being the only true PC game magazine left I am glad they are keeping it real. Reviews are always sketchy in any venue. But I find their opinions interesting. Even when I don't agree. They do a fantastic job on keeping me up to date on new hardware. Don't expect much from the discs. I have never really gotten anything out of them. But then again I am almost exclusively into FPS. So that does limit me.
Everything you expected - plus a bonus February 4, 2009 H. J. Matthews (Alexandria, VA) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
PC Gamer Magazine has been around for many years and continues to maintain currency on all news of interest to gamers. There are interesting news articles and reviews on current games, plus useful look-aheads at what is coming up in the gaming industry - from technology trends to specific game releases.
The bonus is the free disk included with every issue. Each disk provides free trial versions of current (and often not-yet-released) PC games. Content sometimes includes additional artwork, videos, and screenshots.
My son loved receiving PC Gamer Magazine when he was an early teenager. It got him up-to-speed on everything his gaming friends wanted to know about. Now he's a collge graduate working in the computer industry, and he still enjoys this magazine. My recommended audience for PC Gamer goes beyond the hardcore gaming devotee. Casual PC gamers interested in knowing what's coming or just talking intelligently with their gaming friends will love this magazine also. It's worth it just for the bonus disk!
