Defective Product September 5, 2009 S. Sieveking (St. Louis, MO) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this, and when loading it into my computer, it shuts down and sends error messages every time. I can't even get through a level. When trying to get some help with it, I was asked some extremely technical questions, and when I (who buy things that are supposed to be simple to AVOID complicated technology) couldn't answer every single question, I was told that they couldn't help me.
Don't buy it. Its a waste of money.
Great logic game September 3, 2009 K. bos My kids love this game. It really requires them to think through their steps. It is also fun.
Still enjoyable as an adult August 22, 2009 Helen I first played this game when I was in elementary school in the 90's. I remembered this game very fondly and decided to order this last year (I'm in college now)! After spending a long time playing it again and enjoying all the puzzles, I would say that this is one of the best children's software programs I've ever played. It was just as fun as I remembered (my favorite ones are the pizza and frog/lilypad encounters). The puzzles exercise your reasoning and the difficulty setting allows for a challenge. The only downside to this game is its replay value, although again, the higher difficulty allows for more playability after the first few rounds. To be honest, I've never ran the zoombinis to their destination more than a few times so I'm not sure if there is an ending, but they look pretty happy in their new village.

This does not work on Vista despite trying out all the combinations available in the compatibility wizard.
All reviews of this game are five star but the problem seems to be to get the game to work.
HAve been googling to find a solution but none seems to work.
Disappointing to my child! July 6, 2009 BL (FL) Although my computer meets all the system requirements, this program randomly quits and the entire game has to be restarted. My son was thrilled to have the program and was very disappointed when the program continued to stop working. Save your money! He loves the other game we got - Crazy Machines!! Very educational and fun!!
