I Give it Three Stars October 18, 2004 Gustavo (Houston, TX) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
I rate this learning Spanish product as fair. Instant Immersion Spanish will certainly enhance your vocabulary. But you cannot realistically think that this course will teach you how to speak Spanish. I was getting excellent results learning Spanish with the Learning Spanish Like Crazy lessons and the Learning Spanish Like Crazy tele-classes and the name Instant Immersion Spanish sounded like it would be a nice complimentary course to go with my studies. If you are truly on a limited budget (less than $10), I think the I Can Speak Spanish product is a better choice. If you can afford more than the $10, then treat yourself to Learning Spanish Like Crazy.
Must have for beginner or returning Spanish students August 9, 2004 J. Cravens (Portland, Oregon (or there abouts)) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
If you have just started or are into your first year of Spanish, or, if you took a few years of Spanish long ago and want a refresher, this CD set is a must have -- and a huge bargain. The two CDs offer a lot of *fun* as well as a *lot* of quality exercises -- it will take you many, many hours to get through them all, and I found myself doing most of them a second or even third time. These CDs will help a lot in reinforcing the basic Spanish vocabulary you are learning in class (or used to know). There is no verb work. Works on both PC and Mac (I'm on a Mac, running system 9.x -- no problem).

Disappointed December 6, 2003 T (Riverside, CA United States) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I should have read Jason's review before buying this. CD 1 was ok; I can say 'Telephone' '17' 'brown' in Spanish. But CD 2 is... I don't understand ANYTHING. I'm returning this to the manufacturer - they offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
SO MUCH FUN I can't stop! July 26, 2003 C. Poston (Columbia, MO United States) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
Okey, so I was not a natural in highschool Spanish class like I had hoped to be (I did get a C after all). But now years later after trying cassettes and workbooks alike, I can now have fun learning Espanol like I always dreamed to do! You will too if you pick this CD set! Or better yet get the 5 CD-ROM Deluxe Edition for about $$$. I can't go a day without playing this! I love the interactive games that they have and getting the "Si!" from the computer characters. It keeps score of your points too! The best part is that you can record your voice and practice that famous Iberian lisp "th" (for "c") without having to be concerned about anyone hearing it! Look for the very fun "game show" on the second CD.
