I wish I could give this a ten-star rating. I think this is the best thing ever offered on TV, and maybe the best thing ever put on film. I've watched this at least 4 times, and will watch it many more times.
If you're squeamish about the reality of war this may not be for you. On the other hand, if you want to know what heroes are really made of, this will tell you.

Hands down the greatest piece of film I've ever seen. This isn't a series you would only want to watch once. I watch the whole series at least 3 or 4 times a year. Anyone who gave this less than 5 stars either was sent a defective product or isn't American because if you don't enjoy Band of Brothers you obviously don't have the American spirit that drove the US to victory in W.W.II. You won't regret buying this, I promise!

My husband had watched the series on TV repeatedly, so I bought the set for Fathers Day. Besides the TV series, there were deleted scenes, an interactive map showing everywhere Easy Company was deployed, and a dictionary explaining every term used. My husband has already gotten many hours of enjoyment out of the "extras" that he never expected, or usually looks at on a DVD.
