Good value, great console, and Xbox live is superb. But you're probably better off getting a bundle. Anyway, if you don't already own an Xbox, this is a great choice.

No idea why I'm reviewing a years old game system. The XBox is awesome. Best online experience; best graphics and video and integration into my home network. It just works. Kinda like my other 2 XBoxes before they RROD'd on me, but I know this new architecture is the charm.
The thing is so good and so ease to use and own--that I honestly don't care about the past failure rate of older hardware.

Fue la compra perfecta, pude comprarla cuando estaba en oferta en $179.96, tiene 512mb de memoria pero con las actualizaciones cuando la conectas a internet se consume como 120 mb+170mb del sistema de la consola dejandote escasos 210mb para crear avatars y guardar tus partidas...
en conclusion si tienen como comprar la consola no lo duden

First off let me say I was about to write this company as well as their machine off. After having went for the $400 dollars for the original elite system, I wasn't about to have another system give out on me. I was hesitant until I read some of the reviews stating that this specific arcade model was different as it had the new chip (jasper) or some type of new power supply. I will tell all interested that this is the version to get (if you already own the hard drive) but this system works great, less noisy that the elite and I do believe the graphics on all the games look just a little nicer. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is it doesn't come in black or with a hard drive, but other than that great system.

hey i got my xbox 360 on september 21 2009 and it was a jasper unit. it was ordered after they changed the discription from 512MB to the 10MB. the jasper unit runs cooler and the power brick is smaller overall it's good and hopefuly the RROD is behind MS
