I was skeptical about ordering the 1600 points from the amazon digital download at first, considering that a good portion of the reviews mentioned problems with getting their code to work or long waiting time to get the code. I decided to test my luck and I'm glad I tried out this service. In less than a few minutes, I was able to retrieve and input my code and get my GOW2: All fronts collection download about half way.
This is definitely better than driving down to the store, paying tax, and throwing away the card after one use.
Great Way to Get Points August 15, 2009

I was tired of having to go to the store just to get 1600 M$ Points. When I heard about the digital download amazon was offering my first thought was "That's cool.". Well upon reading reviews and not wanting to spend money on xbox live dashboard, I decided to give this a try. Took all of 3 minutes for me to receive the code after purchase. I will use this service again. Fast, Easy, and I don't have to go to the store for a point card. Do yourself a favor and give it a shot.

We've bought this 5 times now and have never had any problems! It's super easy - buy the card, amazon gives you a code - sometimes it takes a minute or 2 to generate - then enter it via either the xbox console or xbox live pc. Amazon also gives you the option to print the code so you can take it with you to enter elsewhere, email it, or send it as a gift. The code has always been recognized immediately by both consoles. In summary - it's fast, easy and NO TAX! Excellent!

It took less then a minute for me to get the code, about a minute to type in my code on [...], and about a minute to start my xbox and begin downloading my game. So over all it took me less then 5 minutes from buying, getting code, and downloading my game.

I got the code within 1 minute. This is a very quick and easy way to buy points without needing to go to a store. I am sure to purchase more points through amazon.
