The first time I received the card in 2 days as expected (Amazon Prime). The second time I got it electronically and had no problem.

Order went through fast & I had a code ready to use on my computer screen in about 5 minutes, thats including the time it took me to pay for it.

I tried buying Micro$oft points directly from the Xbox Live site but kept getting an error message denying my use of my CC. I just had foot surgery and wanted to play the new Panzer General Allied Assault game as I loved the demo. Since I can't really get out of the house, I found this ability on Amazon to buy the points and get the code in real-time. Worked like a charm! After waiting less then a minute, the code appeared. I redeemed the code on the Xbox site as I HATE having to enter codes via a controller on my xbox. The full 1600 pts appeared instantly and I am now playing the full version of my game! Not sure why others had problems but it worked great for me! Love this feature as opposed to having to run to Best Buy or Wal-Mart to buy the cards.

My order was processed (<5 minutes) and I got my code in a snap! Worked great for me with no issues whatsoever! Will use this method again. Beats taking the bus somewhere to purchase a code, and great for when I'm at home again, an hour or more from physical purchasing locations.
Pros: Quick and easy! Same price as in person spending without the travel hassle. Easy when you're far away from store locations.
Cons: May induce more Xbox Live spending due to the fact that you can grab more points whenever I want.

I saw some reviews that said it takes forever but it was instantaneous for me. They have you click a link revealing the code about a minute after you purchase it. They might have changed the way they process the codes or something cause I can't see how it took some people multiple hours to get their codes. Either way, it shouldn't take them more than a few minutes for you to get your code, not hours like some of these reviews say. Hope this helps you make a decision.
