Online banking does not work! October 21, 2009 Entrepreneur (Silicon Valley, CA) The online banking does not work. My bank, Wells Fargo, said it is a QuickBooks problem.
Guess what? QuickBooks wants to charge me to fix it!
If you Google "QuickBooks Pro 2009 online banking" you will see endless complaints.
Wish I'd done this before wasting my money on a bad software program.

I purchased Quick Books 2009 for our small business and overall it does it's job. My issue with it is I operate on widows vista and for some reason this version has lots of flaws and the program stops responding. It becomes an inconvenience when i am trying to work and my program stops responding.
Think long and hard before buying this software October 15, 2009 Toby Winter (New England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The last time I called Intuit they informed me they would no long "support" my version of Quickbooks and I needed to upgrade to Quickbooks Pro 2009. I was never told there was another cheaper option...that being basic Quickbooks (not Pro). I have just discovered this on line by accident. When I described my needs to "Fred" in another hemisphere, he should have known that NONE of the features in PRO were ones I would ever use. But I was never told of the 'basic' upgrade. So I bought this nightmare of a program. The help feature is horrid. They want you to go to forums to see if another user may have posted a solution to my problem. And if that's not bad enough, If I try to use it the program crashes. It's been like that pretty much from the get go. I send a generated message to Intuit about it every time it happens. Do you think they have ever responded or offered a solution? Several of the features that were fairly easy to use in my old 2003 version are now more difficult to do in this version. Like a step backwards in user friendliness. When I called a certified QB expert in my area he told me that he thinks the people that created 2009 were on the same drugs as the people that created MS Vista. The worst part is that when they screw up like this we are stuck with the mess. Technical support costs border on highway robbery. I'm begging you. Make sure you need to upgrade and if you do...make sure you need to have the Pro version for the extra cost.
Quick Books October 10, 2009 Lucy M. Ferris (Florida) Have been a Quick Books user since the first version. Love it! and recommend it to my clients. Didn't realize I was puchasing an "old 2009 version" - didn't say that in the listing or on any paper work but it's fine. Quick Books 2006 has major conflicts with Vista - causes computer to crash - data unretrievable - so beware. I found out the hard way. Fortunately I do a daily back up on a Seagate - learned that the hard way also.
Hard to keep up with customers October 7, 2009 Carolyn Trainer (Heflin, LA USA) It is so much different from the older version I had learned to use and is hard to find the answers to my questions in The Official Guide.
