My Grandkids love it. September 12, 2009 Jessie Carlson (California) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My grandkids have all of those games at home where there is fighting and killing. I don't like them at all. I got this for them and they really enjoy and they get up and get some exercise too.
Absolute hilarity, it puts anyone into a good mood! August 21, 2009 Megan E. Peason (Albany, NY) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I played this for the first time two days ago with my brother. I was nearly on the floor and crying from laughter. He showed me some of the music videos he made, including a couple that were done "acapella" style. Then we made two of our own. For the first one, we did the Legend of Zelda theme song, in which my Mii played the marching snare, and two of my brother's Mii's took the parts of lead singer (yes yes, I know, the song has no lyrics, but it was just adding melody) and alto sax. The second one we did was our version of Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go by Wham!. This is where the game completely won me over. We each had three of our Mii's on screen playing three separate instruments. Mine played rock drums, bass, and electric guitar. My brothers Mii's played electric guitar, lead singer, and (God bless this boy) the mouth harp. That alone made the whole night perfect. When the mouth harp started, the sounds of "boing, boing, boing" going along with the music almost made me lose my rhythm while playing. I couldn't see because I was laughing so hard. The playback video was classic, and I can't wait to see it again! For anyone who says this is aimed at a younger audience, just get the hell off of here. This game is obviously for everyone as I am a married mother of one, and I think it's the best game out there for the Wii right now! Never in my life have I had that much fun with a video game, and it instantly put me in a great mood for the rest of the night. I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to play, though she already thinks me copying the motions of playing these instruments is hilarious!
Good game for kids August 13, 2009 P. Wu (Milpitas, CA United States) Two major issues:
1. hard to control music with wiimote.
2. Music hard to read. wish Nintendo add real music notes to wii music -- similar to the editor in Anvil Studio

The Jam Feature August 11, 2009 W. Davis (Richmond, IN USA) This Wii Game is nowhere near as interesting as advertising and interviews make it out to be. It is the flexibility that is attached to it. This is not to deem the instruments flawed through the motions you make with your wii remote, nor the idea itself. Take for instance the jam feature, which sounds like an awesome idea, once you have managed to use your instruments properly (the wii remote motions). However, it is not in all truth a jam session as the game makes it out to be. It is more comparable to a concert. The game does not allow for extended interpretation of the pieces which you play, meaning if you want the freedom to play what you will, this game has not allowed for it, even though you can play pieces incorrectly. You must stay with in the boundaries of the music given to you, which in my opinion is contrary to the trailers for this game.
One Of My Favorite Games August 2, 2009 This is one of my favorite games. It's great for all ages. (I'm nine) You can even give it to someone as little as a two year old, and I bet they'll enjoy waving the Wii Romote and Nuncheck around to make noise just as much as a 10 year old would! There's a variety of instruments and things to do. It's also a great multiplayer game. My friends and I played it and we had a lot of fun, even though it was the first time they played it. But it's also fun to play by yourself too! Designing your CD jacket is a lot of fun. The mini games are great too. You can conduct, play songs with hand bells, and play a pitch game. My mom even likes them. If you get bored with the game after you bought it, wait a few weeks or so to play it again; you might have as much fun as you did the first time you played! I never bought Wii Music, but I rented it THREE times from Blockbuster. If you rent something three times it has to be good! Right? I think I'll buy it soon. I have it in my house right now. So, if you want to have a lot a fun, I strongly suggest you buy it!
