This is great fun for the whole family. We love having this in our house to use.

1 out of 5 stars This game is for playing games, NOT for getting fit   September 17, 2009

I am an army veteran, and avid sports player in highschool. I got out of the army when I was pregnant with my son. I did not work out at all my entire pregnancy and I did not work out for a year after I had my son. I bought the wii fit 1 year post partum to try to get into shape. As out of shape as I was this game was not challenging AT ALL. There is too much break time in between exercises so you can't keep your heart rate up. Buy a membership to a rec center. This game is not going to do anything for you.

stats:

female
145 lbs at the time of purchase
124 lbs pre pregnancy weight

This has got to be one of the best things on the market today. Not only is it great for your health, it's super fun to use! Get one today.

3 out of 5 stars Fun, but game-oriented   September 15, 2009
L. Dennis (CA)
Some of the games are a hoot (skiing, hula-hooping)! However, the yoga and strength training are game-oriented too. Each move is individual so you can't select a continuous work-out. You select a single yoga move, do it, then it gives you a score, etc. So the "work-outs" take longer than they need too.

4 out of 5 stars Wii Fit   September 14, 2009

Good tool for exercise. While I lack the drive to go out and excersise the Wii Fit has allowed me to lose weight is the short time I have everyday.
