This game suffers from the same problem as Far Cry 1. The game is good fun, the graphics are good and play is generally an immersive experience until the developers run out of ideas midway with the silly monster figures. Surely they could come up with better crap than that. It's farcical to play an adventure game in a quasi real life mode and then have to face idiotic characters/monsters. It cheapens the game and is a big turn off. It would have been better to just have human mercenaries instead.

My 15 year old son and I enjoyed this game very much. It has very nice graphics and excellent views. Sometimes when falling in water falls I had the feeling I was falling. My 8 year old son also started playing but after a while we realized it was not for him, specially the part with monsters/zombies

This game is awesome, it's a true collector's item, can't wait to get part 2, the game has a very high re-sell value because it's the game of the year, I bought the game new at 26 dollars and resold it at 21.00, it took 2 days for someone to buy it off of Amazon once it was listed. I only played it like a couple times; it was practically new "not really used if you know what I mean". The games pretty easy, if you're a hard core gamer; but the story line is awesome. The graphics are so realistic it's the most beautiful game ever played.
Cons- it has a pretty strait forward story line as there is not much exploring to do you can only do the mission and that's it, I really like games that let you go off the beaten path this one really doesn't. I strongly recommend Mercenaries 2 world in flames this game is bad ass and you can venture to your heart's desire its one of my favorite games ever, I don't really like 1st person games prefer in the third. I like to see my character, wish they made more games like so.
Interesting Concept and Well Done Graphics... February 24, 2010

The sense of adventure is very creative. Drake have very fluid movements and most of all, the environment about a jungle never seen in other games is perfectly done. You can see the wind acting with the vegetation, the water is amazing and you even can go through the river.
