The aerator works great and does make an appreciable difference in the taste of the wine for the better. I now use it all the time.

We gave this as a gift to our son. We made a comparison test on a freshly opened bottle of wine. We could taste the difference.

I purchased the Vinturi Essential Wine Aerator based on a friend's passing mention of this on her Facebook page, plus all the glowing reviews here.
After I received the Vinturi Essential Wine Aerator, my wife and I conducted a blind taste test using a Cabernet Sauvignion that we had never tried before. We both agreed that the wine put through the Vinturi Essential Wine Aerator tasted better.
There's only one reason that I am not giving this product 5 stars. There tends to be some drippage after use that needs to be cleaned up afterwards. However, do not let this stop you from purchasing this device. My wife and I plan on giving some Vinturi Essential Wine Aerators away as Christmas gifts.
I would urge you to do a blind taste test on a wine that you have never tried after you receive your Vinturi Essential Wine Aerator. You will be impressed.

Honestly I didn't think it would work. Guess what. It does! It is perhaps the first wine tool that actually does what it says it will. I'll be giving them out as Christmas gifts to all my wine drinking friends this year.
