Only on the DS January 11, 2010 Deimos (Alberta) This kind of brain strength can only be found on the Wii or DS. PSP or playstation or Xbox cannot deliver games like this. This "game" or brain trainer cartridge is unique and really works, do your brain a favour and get this game, use it or lose it.
Brain Age December 31, 2009 J. Lee 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
It is nice to find a "game" that will challenge the kids academically and this seems to do just that. We have not had it long but the kids (11 and 5) seem to both enjoy the game.
Side games are more fun then game itself. December 28, 2009 N. D. Funk (columbus, ohio) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This game contains a few tests for your "Brain Age" that are somewhat entertaining and challenging. Apart from having to memorize 30 words and say colors out loud, I didn't find it too challenging. My Brain stayed at the ripe age of 21. (I'm 26, so I thought that might be good) I do like to play the side games, Sidoku mostly. If you are really trying to sharpen your mind skills, I would suggest getting a game with strategy involved. Or learn a new language. The Professor Layton games are much more enjoyable nad have some of the same challenges.
Brain Drain December 21, 2009 Hudi Loved this game...at first. I couldn't wait to dive into the programs and prove once and for all that I was either a super brain, or as dumb as dirt! It's hard to get a true idea with this game because of the poor voice and written recognition. This appears over and over in the other reviews, so it wasn't an isolated incident with my game. It made it frustrating, but I learned to write and speak a certain way and it would perform better. It appears the only real object of the whole thing is to just keep practicing the same games over and over until you do better. You never really advance to anything new and different; just keep repeating the same thing like a trained animal. What good are the cognitive skills if you are bored stiff?! Fortunately I could trade it back to Amazon for credit and move on to something else.
Fun game for entire family November 5, 2009 Monica Bagchi (Denver,CO) I had purchased this game for myself, but my eight year old daughter enjoys this as much as i do if not more. There are a few games in different categories designed to exercise the brain for a few minutes everyday. Lot of fun.
