This camcorder was a birthday gift for my son-in-law and he
loves it. It's very easy to use and the video is easily downloaded into the computer. I do believe this middle-aged school teacher will be able to shoot video and download when I get myself one.

When I first saw it demonstrated, I knew it would be ideal for the annual quilting workshop(s) that I attend. Then the ideas expanded. How perfect for a visit to a care facility where two relatives are living. There is now 45 minutes of memories stored on the computer. A major attraction for this particular Flip Camcorder is having 120 minutes available. Another attribute is the excellent sound pickup.

This product is quite disappointing. First, the video quality is grainy. It looks absolutely no different from my old digital camera's videos. I don't know how this is "HD". Second, the zoom has almost no range at all. If you want to take video of somebody, you have to stand a good 20 yards from them or you won't get them in frame. Third, every time I try to charge this thing, after about 2 minutes it says it's too hot and stops charging. So it takes absolutely forever to charge it. The only good thing about it is the amount of memory. Otherwise, just use the video function on your digital camera, or dish out the money for a serious HD camera.

I do all of my Youtube videos with this camera (Itachicat) and its just beautiful. its so easy to use and its very clear. the only thing is the close range material( no real macro macro feature). other than that, its perfect

The definite edge this camera has over other similar products is probably its ease of use. Capturing the video, storing, transferring, editing and uploading, are all very easy and intuitive.
