Fits in a pocket. Only need to know 2 buttons. Super easy to plug into computer and upload videos. Fast, convenient and quality. Can't wait for a version that takes still photos in addition to video.

Works very well for its size. Give good images on computer and software makes it very easy to create movies and share either by email, internet or social networks.
Charges quickly and battery has long life.

This thing is freaking amazing. I bought it in chrome and it's everything that a busy mom hopes and prays for in a video recorder. Ease of use is a 10, look and feel is a 10, video quality a 10, price is an 11. What more can you ask for? The screen is small but it's a small recorder so I have no complaints about that. Before my son was born we invested in a Sony HD camcorder but we rarely used it because we didn't want to deal with the bulkiness and charging and wires, etc.
This was the best $170 investment I've ever spent!!!

It died after a year and about a dozen uses. It only charges by plugging into the USB port of a computer and, if it won't boot up (even after charging night and day), you're done, along with any videos you have on it.

The first flip I ordered had to be returned after a couple of days. I was shooting some video and it just died on me and that was that. Amazon promptly sent a replacement which I have been using.
The candy bar format of the camera, while it might look like it would be an advantage it actually is not. It's great as far as portability goes but it's hard to keep it steady and, consequently, videos turn to be a bit choppy.
The editing program is *very* limited. I really wish it had come with a better one or that they would offer one for purchase that would be better and EASY to use.
These things said, I do feel that the fact that you can just put it in your pocket and go allows for more spontaneous videoing so that you can constantly annoy friends and relative by documenting their every move which was my original intent in getting this cam.
