I chose Magnavox because I think they make quality products. I wanted a silver box because my TV and VCR are silver. It really is gray, but it works and I got it for free so I have no complaints.

Easy to install, easy to use, nice reception. The cat knocked it off the TV and disconnected it. Plugged it back in and it still worked great.

This is better than I thought. It works fine with the old antenna. We can watch over 10 channels which are enough for us. We watch TV every now and then.

Found Channels well and let me know which of my antenna had a better signal. Like I say, things are alot nicer when they are free.

This converter box comes with the basic's ..The remote does not seem to easily navigated (The functions are not placed in a easily accesible format and has very small buttons). This boxes menu is nice but it does not come with the on screen guide that tells you what is on . I am reciving more channels from this box than the RCA box I already have ,But I think that is all in the antenna placement.(rabbit ears) It does not come with a power switch on the box.Or a universal remote .I would reccomend the RCA converter box instead of this one for the features it has that this one does not .Such as the universal remote and the very handy on screen menu. I definitly would have chosen a different box had I known those features where not a standard. In a nutshell- the box itself is easy to hook up and does what it is supposed do. let you watch digital tv for free.
