When I first purchased this Tivax converter box box I thought it was great. It didn't take me very long to change my mind. I have to do an auto scan every time I turn my box back on, because it will have dropped several channels. One channel (CBS 2) is always gone. This is no reflection on Amazon. When I called and informed them about the problems I was having they readly refunded my money. Now I'm just stuck with this crappy Box.

Overall, I would rate this product a little below average. Some of the channels in my area that I'm able to receive are clear but the unit becomes very hot while watching television. Even if the picture quality is good, I'm not sure if I would purchase this product again because of this flaw.

The Tivax digital converter box has lots of great features. I especially like having a button that can go back and forth between two channels (prev. ch.) as well as the multi-hour extended guide.
The only dumb thing is that the "guide" and "info" buttons had their functions reversed, and I also felt that the remote had to be pointed very carefully at the box sensor to work. The action on the remote buttons was also a bit stiff. (only a guy would fuss over button action).
Other than that, a good value, especially since I was able to use my coupons online.

Excellent Service. Excellent shipping. Product exactly what I was expecting. The sound and picture quality can jump around a bit. Not attributed to the seller just a product variation. I find that if I spend a few seconds tweaking the position of the equipment (antenna and Tivax) I can get the sound to be clearer and the picture to stay steady. The longer the TV is on one channel the clearer and cleaner the sound and picture.

Clearly the best digital converter on the market. Worth the money with all the features this unit offers.
