Kindle has enable me to read more, faster and more conveniently. March 20, 2010 Ephraim R. Fortunato (Connecticut, USA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Kindle was a wonderful gift from my son and daughter-in-law. I love to read, have wide interests in my retirement and never enough time to do everything. With Kindle, I was able to stock a good supply of classics in literature, history and other areas of interest, including good novels that I can easily pick up at my convenience without having to search my extensive library. I can now go from book to book, researching, learning and enjoying what I read. While a large book collection is a treasure, selecting what I want to read and actually reading is much simpler and with no eyestrain. The ability to set the size of the text to your own needs is great. The Kindle screen has substantially increased my reading speed, too. I love my Kindle. It helps to have the leather book cover and the light accessories available. I have just ordered the screen protector and am waiting for it.

K2i is my new best friend and travel companion March 20, 2010 Book Thirsty (Windsor, ON Canada) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was very skeptical about buying an E Reader as I truly do love real books (Dead Tree Books as I see other bloggers and reviewers calling them). However, once you start using the K2i the "machine" truly disappears and you simply have a great reading experience. My wrists do not hurt as much when holding the kindle during long reading sessions and they would often hurt while holding large paper tomes. The Kindle is easy to use and it so quick to add a new book or newspaper subscription. I highly recommend this electronic gadget to any true reader as you will definelty get your money's worth out of this product.
Kindle 2 Global March 20, 2010 Mrs. Sandra Stockwell (Sydney, New South Wales Australia) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My Kindle is easy to use, really easy to read in bed with and can be used with one hand. I carry it everywhere with me so that I always have a selection of books to while away any spare moments I might have. Buying books for my Kindle couldn't be easier and loading up my account with a gift card saves endless entries on my credit card statements. I won't need to buy any more bookshelves which is important as I have run out of space. I have since bought a Kindle for my dad who's 89 because he always reads my books anyway and the font size changing and text to speech features are really useful for him.
Kindle Review March 20, 2010 Linda (Salinas,CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I received my Kindle in 2/10 and mostly just love it. The wireless connection is really great and the download speeds are as advertised. I chose a Kindle over the Nook based on other people's reviews I had read. I would enjoy, however, being able to loan books to my friends after I have finished with them. Also, I would like it to have a chip to archive my books rather than having to download them again after I have archived them. I had one problem losing internet connection, but the technical support people were wonderfully helpful when I called and walked me though re-establishing wireless connection.
