Excellent and worth the price October 8, 2009 T. Wade (Brooklyn, NY) First, let me start by saying that the seller Vertex is impeccable! They made sure to respond to my emails within hours to address my concerns and it shipped the day I ordered it and arrived 2 days later. Now, the product itself was perfect and just what I needed. I did not have to install anything. Pull it out of the packaging, plug it in, plug in the other devices and there you have it. I may need to purchase 2 more so I will make sure to get them from here as the price is competative and the seller is stallar. Do not hesitate, get this one if you are looking for a reasonably priced, super compact hub. The cord was short but i wasnt walking around with 4 devices attached to my netbook so they can fall too so ignore if people complain about that. How much walking are you doing with things attached to your computer. This product is worth every penny and I am more than happy.
unrecognized USB devices going through hub October 6, 2009 Melissa Beacon (Ashtabula OH) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I didn't have an issue with any of my USB devices before getting this hub. I was just tired of unplugging and switching stuff around for lack of enough ports. I thought this would solve the problem, but now I can't use my scanner because it's not recognized, same thing has happened twice with my camera. Sure I saved money, but now I have the hassle. I don't use it, it caused more problems
So Far So Good! Works Great! September 30, 2009 MsFiction1 (Arizona) Works great so far! Using it on my MacBook Pro. Could use it with my Imac instead if I wanted.
Nice to buy something that requires no manual or learning curve! LOL
A handy and elegant inexpensive solution for your laptop or netbook September 29, 2009 Mark Bench (Florida, USA) I love this mini hub! It has a connector cable 5 inches long, so you can't make a mess. I used to have a hub that connected to the computer with a regular USB cable, but guess what? You don't want any more cables than what it is strictly necessary. You would like this mini hub. Its size is 2 x 2 x 1/2 (inches) so it fits in any of your pockets, but not too small to easily lose it. I would say a very convenient size. I use it with my laptop, and connect simultaneously my camera, mouse, and two flash drives, or alternate with an external hard drive. The silver top cover makes it look a bit "elegant". And the price? Very affordable. In addition, no software or drivers are needed, just connect it, and it works with Linux, and Windows, and even I didn't test it with a Mac, more likely it will work with them, too. Just what is needed for a netbook. September 25, 2009 Sister Ruth Miriam Irey, OCD (Piedmont,OK) This plug and play device is great for attaching USB items such as a wireless mouse, wireless modem etc. It thus allows an external DVD or printer or hard drive to be connected directly to the netbook.
