I got a TI83plus but then it broke. That was probably the luckiest thing that could happen. This calculator is great!! Its fast, its pretty, and its really useful for school. DON'T EVEN LOOK AT THE TI83s BUY A TI-84-Plus Silver Edition Graphing Calculator ITS WORTH THE MONEY!!!!

Ive used this calculator for awhile, then switching to the TI-89 Titanium I realized the TI-89 Titanium is in so many ways better then the TI-84 Plus Silver Edition. The TI-89 Titanium has a Symbolic Math Guide which will show you the answer and the steps it took to solve it. Either get a TI-89 or TI-89 TItanium!

This calculator is great! If you download some of its applications, it can help you with almost all subjects in high school and some courses in college. You can share information with other calculators and recieve application information. It not only helps you with math courses, but with science and other courses. It's helping me, and it could help you too.

Despite its claims of being the fastest TI calculator ever, my TI-83+ Silver consistantly beats the TI-84 by a few seconds at complex graphs. Unless you need craploads of storage or interchangable faceplates, there's not much advantage over the (much cheaper) TI-83+. If you want to spend this kind of money on a calculator, you're better off with a TI-89, which will last you much longer into high-level college math.

One of the best Texas Instruments Calculators.
Excellent for secondary studies. Great design.
