Perfect desk companion February 9, 2008 Ben C. (Florida) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had a need for a solar calculator that did not take up space but at the same time was not too small. I like the display angle. It's the perfect basic calculator. I would have given it five stars but for the fact that the On/C button would have been better placed if it was the first one in the column and not the second.
User-friendly! February 5, 2008 T. Smith (Seattle,WA) The designers at Canon responsible for this product appear to have actually used a calculator before. This product is thoughtfully designed and ergonomically appropriate. The battery back-up is great for low-light conditions and works seamlessly (if you happen to be "ciphering" and walking at the same time). Highly recommended!
Canon LS82Z Calculator January 14, 2008 Simon Lee (Maplewood, NJ USA) The product is functioning just as good, so far, as the Texas Instruments TI-1795SV calculator which I also own. It has basically the same functions but with a little smaller footprint and quite a few dollars cheaper.
Great calculator, but..... December 9, 2007 R. Segerstrom (Tucson, AZ USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I really like it, but I really notice how much I miss haveing a "change sign" button (the +/- that changes a positive number to a negative and vice versa). I'd give this calculator a 4.5 star if it had that.
Smallish October 3, 2007 Amighty (New York City) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Definitely works, but is considerably smaller than your average desktop calculator. Also due to this I think, some of the buttons, notably the CE and ON buttons, are on the side of the number pad, not above it, as I am used to. Altho this would seem minor it makes for some fumbling around with the keys every time.
If small is good for you think about this calkeylator, otherwise go for a regular one.
