I was not aware of the errors this book had until after I purchased the first printing. AMAZON.COM being a major bookstore should have told me the first printing of this book has many, many errors and then pulled them off of their shelf. I tried to order this manual 2 times and Amazon mailed the first printing both times. Amazon you need to be on top of your game and return all first printing and sell the correct updated manual. APA needs to be proactive in letting their large purchasers know there are printing errors instead of wasting everyones time and money. In order to print my review I have to rate the book my rating is ZERO for the first printing floating around for printing my review purposes I rate this book a one. If you have an APA first printing manual send it back.

My university issued a statement several weeks ago that students were to purchase the 6th edition of the APA Publication Manual. Then, they took it back, stating that it wouldn't be required until the final form of the 6th edition was published. I'd already received my copy. I would have liked to know that this wasn't the final form of the edition before I purchase it. That's, I feel, the university's fault and not Amazon's. I love Amazon for the speed of delivery and choice of items.

This manual is more user-friendly than the 5th edition. However there have been some errors, but downloads are available with corrections. I am reviewing APA 6th edition manual of academic writing style.

Version 6 of the APA style book has a significant number of errors and contradictions. I'm sure that it will be revised. Meanwhile you really ought to stick with v5 if your school or your publisher agree.
The sales and delivery processes were perfect, however.

Never recieved the book after over 1 month. Contacte the seller and have not gotten a response. Needed this book for a class, and haven't heard a thing.
