Some of the words are easy, but most are challenging. I haven't taken the GRE yet and heard that none of the words in this box are on the test, so that may be a potential problem. My friend used the same one and just took the test this summer. But, overall the product is great and it's a great way to build your vocabulary...even if it might not help you on test day.

These cards are super useful for studying for the GRE. I knew I needed to expand my vocabulary, and these cards are really helping. Im working through 20 a day, but its quick to learn the words and quiz myself with the cards. The pronunciation guide, sample sentence, and synonyms are very helpful as well. Definately worth the purchase. Only thing I would change is the quality of the paper- maybe they needed them thin to fit 500 in a box, but they definately arent made of cardstock or any other sturdy paper. Turned me off at the beginning, but definately doesn't matter now because they are so useful.

These flashcards were extremely helpful in my GRE prep. I saw more than 5 of these words on the verbal section, and I had not known the definitions previously. The cards aren't anything special - they could be bigger, thicker, laminated, etc. But you save a bunch of time by not making them yourself! Excellent purchase.

the vocabulary provided is great! The cards provide simple explanations and great synonyms, many of which are also vocab words in the deck so increasing exposure to them and increasing likelihood of quick memorization.
