S.A. Shooter September 3, 2009 Owen Morell (Nashville TN) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
Brad Thor at his best. While a couple of his books have contained some spots where it was slow going this one is a "Stem Winder" from start to finish.
The Apostle by Brad Thor September 1, 2009 Mary A. Adcock (Arizona) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
This book again did not disappoint. Every book by Brad Thor is just better each time. This again is a Thriller to the end. It will leave you sitting up at night to find out what the next Chapter holds. I would recomend this book to anyone who likes a thriller for beakfast, lunch and dinner!

Sub Par Compared to Prior Scot Harvath Novels September 1, 2009 A. Werner (Chicago, IL USA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Once I get into a series (Grayson Pierce, Mitch Rapp, etc.) I stick with the entire series. With that being said, this was easily the worst book that Thor has come out with.
So predictable, and way too much on the political side and as everyone else has mentioned, the Red Bull.
Also, is anyone else starting to get annoyed at his 3-4 page Acknowledgement section? How many butts can you kiss in 4 pages. Enough is enough.
His best book was the NYC July 4th plot. Lots of action. Decent characters. The troll should be brough back. But yes, unfortunately, this book was like being in a holding pattern, waiting for something to happen. It did not.
Thor is the Master at weaving the story August 31, 2009 T. Wright (Northeast) 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
I've read all of Brad Thor's books.
The story line could well be pulled from the headlines of any truthful news publication. Brad Thor pulls on his experience with travel journalism to create each scene so clearly the reader finds themselves along side the hero of the book. Each one can stand alone but if read in order, each builds on the last. All this while leaving you looking forward to the next one.
The Apsotle by Brad Thor August 31, 2009 John B. Ragsdale (Kermit, TX USA) 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
Very timely and fast paced read. Brad Thor has his hand on the pulse of intellingence community. This novel is a warning to all free people about the enemy we are facing.
For anyone paying attention, the Taliban in Afganistan have killed over forty of our soldiers this August, 2009. If the leaders of the free world don't get their heads out of the sand, this war may very well be lost.
