Great NCLEX review September 9, 2009 J&Nayeli 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book was an excellent tool for my NCLEX exam. During my last nursing school semester I did all the questions in the CD, but mostly for my NCLEX preparation I read the content of the book, specially my weaknesses. The CD gives you a calendar study and for the first weeks it focuses on the subjects you're weaker. Overall I really liked this book and I passed my NCLEX exam. Good luck and study hard!
A great basic book to have August 28, 2009 missmel (OK, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a very well put together book with a ton of information. I recommend it to anyone in nursing school or studying for the NCLEX.
Questions are too easy August 27, 2009 Parker Dallas 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this book and was happily studying until I took a review course. The teacher explained how this book's questions are too easy for nclex studying, and I can see it is true. All the questions are level 1 fact questions. There are no analysis or critical thinking questions. It's a nice resource for an overview of info from nursing school, but if you're studying for nclex, it's not so helpful.
Truly A Lifesaver!!!!! August 22, 2009 Kristia S. Murray (Plattsburgh, NY) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This book saved me! I have read at least four other review books and took the Kaplan review course, and this book surpassed them all. I read in another review that the format was not application, critical thinking, and analsys which is what the NCLEX is based on. This is true but try to remember that you can't use application or critical thinking when dealing with a subject that you know nothing about. You can't have one without first having the other. After using this review book I passed the NCLEX! I have told every person that is entering the field of nursing to purchse this book! It is worth every penny!
Great! August 17, 2009 Nickie Snyder (Ferndale, WA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This was a great review book and i love how many practice questions it came with. The CD-rom is really good and has several modes for studying. Highly reccomend it.
