This book is an excellent foundation to build on. I used this text coupled w/the AAPA book and found that combination perfect. After each section I used the website for the practice questions. Overall, a great review book.

This book is excellent for those of us who didn't keep our notes from classes very organized throughout the year. It's an extremely concise, organized overview in outline format of virtually everything needed to know in order to pass the board exams. There are also plenty of illustrations, charts, and even a section with full-colored photos. There aren't very many practice questions (typically 7 or 8 at the end of each chapter with a few other questions scattered throughout), but it's a top-notch study guide.
