5 out of 5 stars It IS the essential organizer!!   October 11, 2009
Mamasutra (Los Angeles, CA USA)
I love this pregnancy organizer, it has everything I was looking for, and more. It feels modern and the information is laid out in a very organized way.
I like how you can write all the details of prenatal visits, keep papers in the little folder at the back, and write questions for your next doctors' visit. There's a 40 week calendar that you can customize, a list of needed baby essentials - clothes, equipment, furniture etc, and a gift tracker, including a chart for returning loaned items. Also, there's a section for tracking feedings, changes, etc once the baby's born. As a first time mom-to-be I find the book very re-assuring.
If you're looking for a journal to write your thoughts and experiences, this may not be the book for you - it has some areas for journaling and pasting a few pictures, but that's not the focus of this book. It's practical, has real information, and keeps everything to do with your pregnancy in one place. I love it!

5 out of 5 stars Perfect planner -- especially if you love to be organized.   September 30, 2009
M. McCoy (Omaha, NE)
I am about one month away from delivery and keep finding handy uses for this planner. I've basically used every single section of it to record information from dr's appts, registry info, baby showers, memories and birth plan preferences. I'll be reaching for it as soon as I go into labor to count contractions and record our experiences, as well as after the baby is born. I'm already planning to get the Essential planner companion for once the baby is here. The Essential Baby Organizer: Birth to One Year (The Essential Organizers)

This is one of the only items I recommended to my girlfriend who just discovered she was pregnant and I would recommend it to anyone. My favorite part about it is that I will have this all recorded, so during my next pregnancy when I'm trying to remember what happened when or in 30 years when I'm trying to explain my experiences to my daughter, I've got all the pertinent info in a handy keepsake. Worth the price and so much more.

5 out of 5 stars Great Pregnancy Organizer!   September 26, 2009

I have been using "40 Weeks +: The Essential Pregnancy Organizer" throughout my pregnancy and I love it! There are calendars, lists, and tips for the many things you'll need. You can keep track of your doctors appointments and add any info from each of them. There's a checklist of baby supplies and tips on preparing for different things. A great way to keep things organized.

4 out of 5 stars So far, so good!   September 11, 2009
A. Parras (Phoenix, AZ USA)
This is a wonderful organizer for the newly pregnant woman and, while this is my first pregnancy, it is a useful tool for questions and concerns I didn't even think about.

The only issues I have that I hope the publishers change in the future: add more space for writing & random notes. Put MORE pockets in the book. And the binding is TERRIBLE! I went to Kinko's and had it rebound to a more sturdy and reliable binding...this thing was falling apart because I was opening/closing it every day!

Other than that, it is just wonderful!

2 out of 5 stars Not What I Expected   August 12, 2009

I am an organizer and I thought this would be a great book. It has a few ideas and links that are helpful, but nothing that is not on the pregnancy websites. It is to organize your information, but there is not enough space to write your information down.
