WOW! Finally a math book for everyone! September 30, 1999 guampi@netpci.com (Yigo, Guam) 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
Returning to college after a two-year break made math review imperative. After looking at the primary textbook, I felt like I was reading some foreign language. If you struggle for the math to "click", this book may be the answer to your prayers. When I started working with 'Math Review for Standardized Tests', I learned so much more so much quicker than from in-class work and the textbook combined. I went from the last one to finish tests to one of the very first. Do the math. Good luck.
This is a great book for any math preparation. August 27, 1999 3 out of 3 found this review helpful

TO THE POINT! May 9, 1999 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This was an outstanding book that helped me with college algebra and I know it will help me and my wife in the near future with our children! It gets right to the point. You do not search for "hours" looking for assistance. Even though it lacks an index, the table of contents is organized in such a manner for speedy searches.
Great for anyone who hasn't study math in a long time! July 8, 1998 13 out of 14 found this review helpful
This book was made for anyone who hasn't taken a math course in recent years or just want a refresher course to help them get ahead. Just as the book advertises it was meant for people to use for the SAT, GMAT or any of the other standardized tests. It helped me tremendously with my preparation for taking basic college algebra. The author breaks each chapter down into very easy and managable sections. When using this book you feel like you have your own personal tutor there at your side. If you are taking a math course or plan on it then you MUST get this book.
