This is the most fundamental book in the biological sciences October 29, 1998 We are having an on-line class about genebank and alignment softwares and surfing on net we reached this page. Molecular Biology of the Cell should be the reference book for undergraduate students of all biological fields.
Exellent book with a need of total renovation October 3, 1998 I'm a biology student in StPetersburg State University, Russia. This books can help a beginner very much as a really excellent guidebook for modern cell biology, but it's too old to be real thing for a proffessional in any area of contemporary molecular and cell biology.
Absoloutly fantastic....... September 29, 1998 This book is absolutely fantastic. I find it very useful for my course. It covers nearly all areas of molecular and cellular biology from A-Z. The immunolgy secction is well considered, covering areas such as HLA, Antigens Antibody, Cell mediated respose, and so on. You name it its there. There wasn't one subject concerned with Molecular biology that I did not find ion this book. I look forward to buying the next edition of this book. Naz... Bradford
Excellent introductory text September 18, 1998 I am a computer scientist who needed a crash course in molecular biology. Normally I find textbooks soporific, but I found this both readable and interesting. Very impressive. It also seems very comprehensive, though I don't know enough to judge.
the best book I have ever read August 24, 1998 I am a biochemistry student in mainland China. I have long wanted to have this book, but unfortunately the book is not available in China. Last month, my friend who is a Canadian citizen bought this book in North America and gave it to me as a present. I was greatly delighted. This is the best molecular and cell biology textbook I have ever read. And I have spent many pleasurable hours reading this wonderful book.
