This book is identical to her previous ed. with Apolo Anton Ohno on it. All she has done to this newer book with Serena Williams on it is to add about 3 pages, changed her color coding, ISBN # and cover photo. You end up going out to get this book because it's newer and you spend tons of money on it when it is the same identical book to her earlier editions. Buy this book used, check it out of a library or look into her earlier edition. For to buy this book new is a huge waste of money going straight out of your pocketbook into Marieb's pocketbook. I suspect textbook authors notoriously do this just to make more money off of a book.

I'm 45 and decided to go back to school to become a nurse. I haven't been in school since 1987, so I was a bit nervous.
Anatomy & Physiology I was the fist class I signed up for and this was the book we had to get.
I can't tell you how wonderful a learning tool this book is (and the corresponding lab book). Sure, I'm in a different mind set now than I was at 19 (in the 1980's), but this book is written extremely well. The class is hard, but the text AND especially the diagrams and photos are so helpful.
I got an A in A&P I, and have an A+ in A&P II right now. It's weird, but I am going to miss this class when it's over.
Kudos to the writers of this book!!
