colouring not for fun September 16, 2009 Suzie M (Hanoi, Vietnam) Not very amusing, but I guess that's not the point. Would have liked it better in a spiral/open-close bound since it's huge - little by little would have been more convenient and easy to carry around. Extensive and comprehensive.
Anatomy coloring book July 11, 2009 Joanne A. Dandin (lv, nv) I figured this would be a nice book to find things for my students to color. It turned out to be a wonderful resource item. It was sent in a timely and well shipped manner. I am very pleased with this.

Great for musculature, bones, and vessels, but lacks innervation June 11, 2009 laminator 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I'm currently taking Human Anatomy at Johns Hopkins Medical School, and this coloring book is a great study aid for processing the large amounts of information in an anatomy course. The book is pretty thorough on most subjects, but it is severely lacking in muscle and viscera innervation. The section on somatic and autonomic systems is a wonderful summary (and made sense out of my professor's lecture!) and has the major plexuses, but the book kinda fails when it comes to regional innervation - a major drawback when studying tightly packed areas like the pelvis and abdomen. Would have gotten a 5 star, but innervation is important to know and very tricky... maybe the authors can add some in a 4th edition?
A great way to learn anatomy! May 13, 2009 Tina Denali (Seattle, WA) This book uses a completely different approach to learning anatomy, and it worked great for me!
This book was part of my massage school curriculum and I feel that coloring the muscles really helped me to learn them more quickly and more completely. PLUS you get to color! And not feel silly for enjoying it!
I think this is a great book for anyone interested in anatomy. I think it would be a great way to get kids and teens interested in anatomy, also.
PLUS it's very cheap for an anatomy book! :)
Highly recommended!
Great Product April 30, 2009 G. L. Park (Fort Worth, TX United States) Excellent product, purchased for the second time. Original purchase was for massage therapy classes an when I went back to school for Medical ICB I searched for this book again for class use. It is very easy to learn anatomy using this coloring book as a supplement to regular class work. The hands on process helps you remember items easier that just reading and memorizing. Very detailed book and my class instructor was intrigued and purchased her own copy for use in upper level schooling she is enrolled in..
